(September 10th, 2009) -- This past Labor Day Weekend even with a disappointing Cherokee run, Colby padded his Rookie of the Year points lead with a good run Monday night at Travelers Rest Speedway. With only one race left in the SASE series at Cherokee on October 24th he will try and cap off the deal with a good run. Next weekend September 18th and 19th Colby heads to Lavonia Speedway to run in the Georgia State Championship which is a Southern All- Star sanctioned race.

Lavonia is where he got his start in Limited Late Model finishing 2nd in the points his 1st year out in 2002. Colby is looking forward to getting back there and racing in front of his loyal fans who supported him at the age of 14. He appreciates all the good folks asking about him and hopes to put on a good show making his return to Lavonia Speedway a track he always enjoyed racing at.
